Nursery Cook

• 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Based at our Preston Road community nursery 
• £11.61 – £12.39 per hour depending on experience

The post holder will take sole responsibility for organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality meals and snacks whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with Environmental Health Office regulations.

We are looking for an individual who:

• Has minimum Level 2 in food handling, nutrition or equivalent.
• Has experience of working in a kitchen environment with high standards of cleanliness
• Can plan menus and cook nutritional meals from scratch
• Has excellent interpersonal skills.
• Is able to use own initiative

Youth Worker Nature Ranger

• Full Time – 37 hours per week until 31st March 2025 (years 2 & 3 are subject to funding a minimum of 16 hours per week)
• Salary SCP 18 – 21 (£12.51 – £13.96 per hour. depending on experience)

• You must be qualified to a minimum level 2 in Youth & Community work or related discipline

• Supply Hours –  weekday evenings (4pm – 7.30pm)
• £11.82 – £12.88 per hour depending upon experience
• Holiday and sickness cover, additional hours in Half Term and Summer Holidays

Requirements and responsibilities for this post:

• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of sessions and activities to support the informal learning, development and interests of young people aged between 10 and 19 years old.
• To support and encourage the voice and influence of young people in local and city wide projects
• Ensuring that all data is collated appropriately and timely, allowing for monitoring to take place.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the youth facility
• To be a team player, flexible, approachable and able to work under pressure.
