During the month of July, Child Dynamix have had a number of new faces working across the charity from various Secondary schools in the city completing their work experience.
Lacey completed her work experience in Child Dynamix Core (administrative) Team.
working alongside the reception team greeting service users with a welcoming smile. She also completed and passed training in Professional Boundaries in the Working Environment using our in house learning and development platform.
Lacey was tasked with creating a presentation about sun safety for children and a social media plan to help promote it.
Lacey’s social media plan will be shared in August along with the sun safety presentation.
Kelsey, Nattan, Mia and Megan attended Child Dynamix for work experience getting a taster of each of the services across the charity.
Over the week they did some time on reception, setting up and delivering a session with the Family Support team helping with both planning and delivering of the sessions. They also spent some time at The Hut with the Youth team organising the art room and attended a gender and trans awareness workshop, updated display and notice boards and also help set up and run a youth session.
Crystal completed her work experience at Child Dynamix Community Nursery – Savoy Road.
Crystal enjoyed working in the baby room and was a big help on particularly challenging day as there was new children in the room who were upset Crystal engaged the pre-school and toddler room children well and the children loved having her in.
